Is there a way to have both update at the same time. If I take the /cover out of the URL, then the position gets updated. It requires ObjectMapper (can be mavened from :jackson-module-kotlin:2.12. The closest thing I have found is this package py-trello but I am unable to proceed further than just getting the names of. Just in case anyone needs Kotlin example (JDK 11 is required) is below. However, this does not work when trying to update the position. I am trying to pull data from our trello boards into python and possibly output results in a tabular format which contains Name of member, Card name, description, date opened, due date etc. I noticed that for changing the color, I need to pass the json variable in the response, and have the URL end with '/cover'. The pseudo code is from: and added my own variables. Print(json.dumps(json.loads(response.text), sort_keys=True, indent=4, separators=(",", ": "))) The idea is to have a card update based on a result, red and to the top to catch my attention but if everything is working correctly, then green and to the bottom. ![]() Make sure you make a put request and you have a proper token with write permission. Note that listname is the case sensitive display. ![]() To get the ID, simply call the provided trello.py file from the command line with the following arguments: python init.py apikey oauthtoken boardid listname. I'm trying to have my board update based on some results and having a hard time finding the best way to update both a card's position and the color. You have to use this url: PUT /1/cards/ card id or shortlink/idList. It is surprisingly hard to find a list's ID via the Trello interface, but easy to get via the API, so I built a helper function.
